Boyhood

If you have nothing happening this Sunday afternoon, I have one piece of advice. Get yourself to your nearest movie cinema and go watch Boyhood. I don’t want to say to much about the film, but it was amazing watching the process of the story being crafted over twelve years, and the young actor going from a boy to a man. If you don’t believe me, just listen to the parade of critics giving the film a enormous amount of praise. Richard Roeper went as far to say it was “one of the greatest films he had ever seen”.

Richard Linklater’s Boyhood

If you’re my age you might not of heard of Richard Linklater. Or maybe you do. Or maybe you’ve seen his must commercially successful films “School of Rock” but had no idea about the man behind it. Well anyway, Linklater has been busy for for the past 12 years putting a film together about a boy growing up. I myself was hooked at an instant, but others I’ve talked to about the film, weren’t as convinced. Either way check out the trailer below, which features “Hero” from the Indie Rock band Family of the Year.
